I decided to write a short story of my normal day as a beginner blogger. Well, as you may remember I have created this blog a week ago and desperately tried to get some traffic. Maybe this text gives some ideas for somebody other beginner blogger about work load it takes to promote and build your own blog.
First when I created my blog to Blogger it seems all so easy. It took no more than a half an hour to make my blog pages up and running. But I did not realize then that how much energy and time it takes to modify your pages to look something that you have thought your pages should look. I have spend at least 10-20 hours for modifying my page layout, and main reason for that amount of time is that this whole blogging thing were quite new to me .(I knew what blog is, but I never had one) I had to dig information from all over internet and that took a lot of time. Of course, I could just leave blog template as untouched, but then I would not have been 100% pleased to looks of my blog. Now it is pretty close the way I like it. At least at this moment
After layout modifications, I started to worry about traffic rates
Nobody visited in my blog, but how they could, I had not advertised my blog anywhere. I started to think how to increase traffic and that mission is still going on. I visited in many different kind of blogs and tried to gather information from good sites where I can advertise my blog. That took almoust all my spare time at first week and seems to take that at second week also.
My typical day at first week was something like this: I woke up at 6.25 AM and went to work 7.00 AM, at 3.00 PM my work day was over and I came back to home. And from that point on I were behind my computer screen till 11.30-12.00 PM, getting information from tarffic generating, money making blogs and so on. And with same time I tried to promote my blog as much as possible. I did managed to make a few contacts and I noticed a little bit traffic in my blog (hurraaaayyy, somebody did find my blog!). After all those efforts I was hoping to see more traffic, but no. But I do not allow that to disturb me. I have to try even harder for following weeks, and make some adjustment to my advertising.
And now a few word for money making. I got couple of very usefull hints from comments section. First one were from deralaand and his suggestion was that maybe I should try Text Link Ads or Project Wonderful. Those possibilites sounds great and infact I had already joined to Text link Ads, but they have such heavy traffic rate demands that my blog is not yet achieving those. Project Wonderfull is a new advertising system to me and that seems very interesting. If I understood correctly you can place your blog to Project Wonderfull site and sell some ad space. Then some advertisers are bidding your ad space, so it is an auction way to sell ad space.
The second tip came from randlet. He is a webmaster of Embed My Video. His suggestion was to join photo sharing site called eefoof. Those are paying a lot better than ImageFly.info atleast according to their own information. eefoof do not support multiple file upload at the moment, so if you have a lot of files to upload, it takes a lot of time too. I asked that that multi-upload feature from eefoof, and they said that it is coming soon to eefoof.
Well, that’s all my friends at this time. Hope you enjoy visiting my blog and maybe you can find some usefull information to help you with your own blog.

I feel your pain. I started my blog more as a personal online diary of sorts, but quickly figured out that I might be able to make a little money with it as well. I’m not seeing too many benefits from my efforts as of yet, but if I come across something that might help you, I’ll be sure to send the info your way!
Have a great week.
