I have got a lot of backlinks to my blog during Technorati favorites exchange. That is another good reason to join in Technorati favorites exchange project. As you can see this exchage project has many good effects to your blog. I have got around 100 backlinks to my blog. Getting that much backlinks for example with link exchange takes a very much hard work and time. And still with link exchange your blog visibility may not be as huge as it is with Technorati favorites exchange project.
Taking part of these exchange projects is not all of gaming favorites etc. Those exchange projects also provides very valuable backlinks from blogs where it may usually be hard to get backlinks. And when it comes time to re-check your Google Page Rank, all those backlinks are then very valuable.
Of course with all these exchange projects you are able to find many interesting blogs that you may have missed or did not found elsewhere. I personally check at least once every blog which gives backlink/trackback for me. That is the way I have found many good blogs.
