SEO Tips to Get Targeted Traffic For Your Site

Published by under Traffic

SEO – Search Engine Optimization – is a process to optimize your website position in Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs), which means your website should appear at the first ranking for specific keywords on the first page of any search engines.

Why to do SEO? First it maximizes your web traffic because it’s the most visible in surfers’ search. The more visitors your website has the better your conversion rates and ROI are and thus the higher your profit is.

Next unlike paid marketing, organic marketing or SEO is much more cost effective. You won’t have to pay for the traffic or the clicks themselves. More than that, if you have time and knowledge, you can generate traffic yourself so your organic traffic can be completely free.

The matter relies on how to do SEO effectively to get the most out of it, which means you can get massive targeted traffic within your time and money budget. Some webmasters will opt to do everything themselves. However, they often get stuck half way being hopeless to wait for their website to get high rankings and the traffic to come.

The reasons can be simply either they are not aware of the latest Internet Marketing techniques which are being developed day by day by professional Internet Marketers, or they just aren’t doing them the correct ways. Another reason can be they don’t have that much time to manage and complete the SEO process and leave it undone without having any results yet.

For those reasons, most of online business owners nowadays choose to outsource to reliable Search Engine Optimizers (SEOs). Among the leading SEOs in the current market, Traffic Assistants can be considered the best with their core competency in exclusive internet marketing services provided by professional internet marketers.

New nice passive income source, Money4Banners

Published by under Make money online

Money4Banners.com is a new approach to Web site advertising that uses a standard 468 x 60 pixel banner, which is much more visible and appealing to surfers.

Money4Banners will pay you $5 a month (Amazon voucher or cash via PayPal) for placing and maintaining three of their banners on your website. Your site may be large or small, with a high or low traffic count, but you’ll continue to receive $5.00 for as long as you retain the ads.

From a publisher standpoint, Money4Banners excels because they aren’t based on a Pay Per Click, or Pay Per Impressions basis. This is perfect for low traffic sites / or someone just looking to make some pocket change for 3 minutes of work. This is a nice passive income source. Unfortunately my site did not get acceptance, I think the reason is that my site is introducing and advertising different kind of making money online methods.

Acceptability terms

Money4Banners.com will not accept sites with offensive or inappropriate content or sites whose content relates to forums and reserves the right to reject any website from using its service that contain the following:

  • Sites with duplicate or copied content
  • All Pornography/Nudity/Sexuality
  • Spam
  • Racist Content
  • Copyright infringement
  • Illegal activities
  • Illegal Software/Hacking
  • URLs which are a referral/affiliate account for a parent site
  • Get Rich Quick site
  • Casino/Gambling site
  • Sites containing popup
  • Site that resizes the browser to full screen
  • Racist, sexist bulletin boards
  • If on a BBS, you must be moderated for foul and inflammatory language

Few linkbaiting tips

Published by under Traffic

Ever found it hard to get other bloggers to link to a new blog? Sure you have, it’s not easy sometimes. Even established blogs need to expand their traffic and influence on a regular basis, and linkbaiting is one way to do it. It’s not without potential perils, but the time honored tradition of being contrary, in order to get attention is well proved, and done right, it’s a killer way to break into a new area. There are also safer ways of linkbaitng, they’re just less fun :)

In order to bait a link, you need a hook. Hooks come in variety of flavors, some of the more popular would include:

  • News hook
  • Contrary Hook
  • Attack Hook
  • Resource Hook
  • Humour Hook

There are others, but you see the point. There are two main types of hook in there, the nice hook, and the nasty hook. I’d say in most cases you can get away with a contrarian viewpoint, but not an attack. No one
likes an arsehole, so there’s no real benefit, as sure you may get a ton of links from outraged blog peers, but they’ll likely ignore anything else you write.

Saying that though, it’s a judgement call. I’ve often slammed someone on a blog, but you need to be able to judge it very well. Go just a little too far, and you’ll do more harm than good.

The easiest, and safest is the nice hook. And when i say easy, I mean it. Have a look at some examples of each type of hook i’ve listed: Continue Reading »

How to Submit Your Blog to the Search Engines

Published by under Traffic

Although submitting your blog to the search engines is very similar to submitting your website, there are several differences that you should be aware of. Knowing these differences can help you get your blog indexed more quickly because you have submitted your blog correctly.

Regardless of whether you are submitting a blog or a website, if you are submitting to Google, you should create a sitemap. Although you should check your sitemap periodically to make sure Google isn’t encountering any errors with your sitemap, once you submit it, you don’t have to submit to Google again. All you have to do is keep your sitemap up to date.

If you use a blog like WordPress, you can install the sitemap plugin. This plugin updates your sitemap automatically and notifies Google that your site has changed.

If you don’t use a blogging software that generates sitemaps, you can create your own. Google offers plenty of free tools for creating sitemaps.

Even if you don’t have a sitemap, you can still add your site to Google. You just won’t get detailed statistics.

Here’s where you can submit to Google.

Since Google doesn’t allow direct submission to its blog search, you will need to make sure that you submit your site to blog directories Google pulls results from for its blog search, and then make sure you ping these sites when you update your blog. Continue Reading »
