Hits4Pay has been a very successful program for me. I want to help you succeed, and maximize your earnings in the Hits4Pay program. In that spirit here are my 5 Steps.
5 Steps to Maximize Your Hits4Pay Earnings
Step 1
One of the biggest mistakes I see when talking with my affiliates is the under utilization of the interest categories. If you haven’t checked the maximum categories, You Aren’t Receiving Maximum Emails! You need to immediately go into your Hits4Pay account, select the My Account Tab, choose Edit Interest Categories, and pick the maximum allowed which is 25. This will give you the best chance to get the most emails possible based on your interests. I have read 71 emails this month. The results of this problem can be seen in that the most emails read by any of my affiliates is 50. I believe this discrepancy is a direct result of the category issue just explained and the ones I will address next.
Step 2
It is very important to make sure that you are receiving the Hits4Pay emails. I have many affiliates I talked to that were never receiving the new message alerts because the messages were being filtered as SPAM. Whatever email service you are using make sure that hits4pay is on your “white” or approved email list. When I told this to one affiliate the question was asked “If all the emails must be read from the internal mailbox why does it matter whether or not I am receiving the alerts? I am checking my internal box daily already.” Well I’ll address that in step 4 but first step 3.
Step 3
Now that you are getting the max emails for your interests and receiving the alerts in your email, you need to be able to find them easily and quickly. Use a filter for incoming mail so that you can sort and label the Hits4Pay alerts. I don’t know that email program you are using but most allow for filtering of emails into folders or categories. I receive hundreds of legit emails a day and trying to find the Hits4Pay alerts amongst them would be cumbersome if not for the filter and label option in gmail. The benefit of this is that you can readily see when new alerts come in and you can quickly and easily respond. This is key to step 4. Continue Reading »

We all know what SEO is, I’ve heard of SMO, but this is the first time I have heard of the term ‘VSEO‘ or Video Search Engine Optimization. Over on Jack Humphrey’s blog, Jack answers a reader question that asks what can be done to promote videos and improve their SERPS. The information is pretty straight forward. Ironically, many of the same tips provided by Jack for VSEO coincide with SEO. No surprise there. If you give your content descriptive titles, summaries or descriptions, tags, etc. you should do just fine whether it be SEO, VSEO, PSEO (Podcast SEO). In any case, Jack’s blog post is still a good reminder that the basics of SEO in general still matter.

Are you still on the fence on whether or not to have your own blog? Howard Flomberg of the Examiner published his list of 10 reasons on why to blog. While some of the items have a comical feel to them, most are down to earth such as number 2,

After you give his quick ten reasons a read, come on back and let me know a reason or two as to why someone should blog.

Steven Hodson of WinExtra.com learned a valuable lesson today that is worthy of sharing and that is, cute headlines don’t work. I know I’ve had my days where I come up with what I believe to be an awesome headline only to find out that it turned into a failure. I think the headlines which don’t work the most often are the ones that are inside jokes that only the post author knows. With that in mind, I think it’s time to revisit an excellent guide that was published by Brian Clark of CopyBlogger.com that focuses entirely on headlines. The guide is as follows:
- Why You Should Always Write Your Headline First
- The Cheater’s Guide to Writing Great Headlines
- Do Key Words in Post Titles Really Matter?
- How to Write a Killer “How To” Post That Gets Attention
- 7 Reasons Why List Posts Will Always Work
- Why Some People Almost Always Write Great Post Titles
- 10 Sure-Fire Headline Formulas That Work
- 7 More Sure-Fire Headline Templates That Work
- Warning: Use These 5 Surefire Headline Templates at Your Own Risk
Writing excellent headlines is a science to say the least but after reading Brian’s guide, it should be much easier.

Its been mentioned here before about how were you are hosted and what your TLD (top level domain) is can effect weather you are listed in Goggle UK or now (or which ever country you want to be ranked in) The advice is that if you want to rank in UK Google then you have a .co.uk domain name and/or you get UK hosting.
Because of this Just Search offer UK hosting solutions. One thing i have noticed dealing with the hosting at just search is how confused people can get and how people don’t quite understand the different aspects of a domain name and the settings applied to them.
I am going to try and make it a little simpler for everyone.
You can almost always find out any domain details using a who is search. this can be done at the following address. www.who-is.com the following examples will use the Just Search who is info.
One term i will use in this post is the word propagation. When i talk about propagation i am taking about the time it takes for DNS servers to update. A DNS server is a computer that changes a web address into an IP address which is then used by web browsers to go to the correct website and display it. DNS Servers are like an address book of the Internet. When you change the settings of your domain name every DNS server in the world needs to update its “address book”. At a set time interval a DNS server will contact the DNS server closest to it and compare “Address Books” If one DNS server has updated details then it will update the server next to it. This process will continue until all DNS servers contain the same information about a website. this usually takes up to 48 hours to be complete.
If we get back to the domain details then we should start from the very top. Every domain name has a registrar. A registrar is a company who owns the domain name. If a person buys a domain name they never actually own the domain name they only rent it of the registrar. This is why you only have it for 1, 2, 5 years at a time then you need to renew it. I just received a payment from Bidvertiser. I got $25 payment. Click image to see it bigger.

Bidvertiser is one of my choosen money makers. I have used it a long time and I have never got any problems with payments. So I can really recommend Bidvertiser for your blog. I like Bidvertiser more than Google AdSense because Google has so high payout rate $100. Bidvertiser has only $10 minimum payout rate, so that is very nice.

While I’ll let Lorelle explain when to publish a blog post, I see a question that pops up from time to time in the form of, “When should I write posts for my blog?“. The answer, whenever you feel like it. It’s no secret that I write for not only Performancing but for a few other sites as well. Coming up with unique original content for multiple sites is quite a challenge. That’s why I rely on my RSS reader for a crutch. I try my best not to write and publish a post just for the sake of doing so. When do you this, readers can tell. Instead, I’ll browse around the various categories in my RSS feed or I’ll monitor the links showing up on Twitter until I find something that resonates with me. Some of the best articles I have ever written have come from something else which acted like a spark. Not only will the article come across with a sense of passion, but writing the actual article becomes a heck of a lot easier since you then have something to say. There are a few types of posts that I look out for that usually trigger an emotion or thought process, they are:
- Opinion pieces
- News items that I have an interest in
- Cool new discovery
- Site or service that I’m interested in reviewing
- Excellent resources worth sharing
My feedreader is filled to the brim with material and so, it serves as an excellent crutch for those times when I can’t come up with something on my own. If all else fails, ask your Twitter or social following a question in which you can compile the answers into a post. As a last ditch effort, you can publish one of those link round up articles. In general, don’t write just for the sake of writing. Let your emotions, passion, and creativity guide the way.
