Google releases Adwords Editor 7.0
It has been while since Google released AdWords Editor 6.5 and that was riddled with bugs. So now enter version 7.0 with many new features and so far no bugs.
The new features include the following:
First page bid estimates: You can now see first page bid estimates for all you keywords directly in the Editor software. Minimum CPC bids are no longer valid.
Quality score: Your keywords will now display their quality score within Editor.
Keyword opportunities locale: You can now adapt your keywords to a language or location by changing your keyword opportunities locale. Good for multi language campaigns.
Campaign targeting: It is now possible to see targeting settings in the language and location column in the campaigns tab, however they are hidden by default.
Feedback: It is possible to enable usage tracking within Editor so that Google can improve the software over time. This is found under the tools menu.
Traffic: The search volume column on the keyword expansion tab can now show actual traffic from the previous month rather an estimate.
One feature I’d still like to see in future versions is position preferencing, closer integration of the search based keyword tool and the facility to build display ads. How are you finding this new version then? What features would you like to see in the future?
