Host Monster: Affordable and Reliable Hosting
For me, hosting multiple sites and depending entirely on a hosting provider is not really a convenient option. I prefer to spread dozen of my sites to several web hosting providers. The idea is to make sure that not all my sites are affected when something goes wrong with a particular hosting provider and that explains why I keep on subscribing on new hostings from time to time.

Hostmonster has been operating since 1996 and is one of the oldest web hosting provider with an excellent feedback. For what is worth, Host Monster and Blue Host are owned by the same company. Both offer almost the same support, configuration and price as well. They own and operate their own data center with top end servers and excellent infrastructure.
HostMonster has a LOT of features to offer at cheap price. Consider these; UNLIMITED DOMAINS, Cpanel with Fantastico, Domain Name, Shell Access(SSH), Custom PHP.INI Files, 100MySQL Databases and the list goes on. Frankly, this is more than what any advanced user will ask for.
One thing that I really love about Hostmonster is because users are allowed to control almost everything related to their domains all by themselves.
So if, at one point, you decide to extend your expiration date or you want to add privacy protection to a particular domain, you can always do that via the domain manager inside the control panel. Unlike some other hostings, you may need to open ticket and wait for their staffs to do it on your behalf.

In term of performance, HostMonster claims to host all their hosting accounts on latest Quad Opteron Servers, backed with backup UPS and generators with all servers are put on 24/7 monitoring. Hostmonster also offer OC-48 backbone connection for all the servers. Personally, I’m extremely happy with the overall performance of HostMonster and after almost a year with it, I never experience any down time on 6 domains (not that I’m aware of).
