Tracking ROI for social media
With an increase in using social media for business, it is not surprising that businesses now want to effectively track the ROI from social media sites. In many cases, this can be quite difficult to accomplish, largely due to the many different elements that first need to be evaluated. However, I will now endeavour to make this process a whole lot easier, by explaining the basic elements you will need in order to get the best ROI on social media sites.
One of the main things you will need to do is to define some clear goal baselines, whilst keeping a good idea in mind of what you actually wish to accomplish. These are essential in measuring your social media return. If, say, for example, you wanted to increase the presence of your business name, you would need to know and understand your current baseline before you can proceed to accurately determine your ROI and effectively change your social media strategy.
The main aspect of what you need to do is to keep track of all data, such as traffic counts, comments, number of followers. This will enable you to have a good strategy in place to gain the maximum conversions possible for your site.
