Gavari Semiacoustic Violin

Published by TJantunen at 21:01 under Technology

The violin is a musical instrument that dates back for many centuries.  Violins have produced some of the most beautiful music in the world, arguably.  With modern design, the violin has become much more interesting and is starting to take on some of the same appeal as the electric guitar.

The Gavari Semiacoustic Violin was created by an Austrian Designer named Gerda Hopfgartner.  When Gerda Hopfgartner designed the Gavari Semiacoustic Violin the designer was inspired by feminine curves, modern yachts, and fashion corsets from the Baroque, Beidermeier, and Rococo ages.

What will be interesting is if the violin sounds as beautifully as it looks.  Although the body of the violin has been altered to resemble something sleek and contemporary, the violin’s aesthetics are still the same.  It’s not the sound of the violin that has changed – it’s simply the body.

People interested in the Gavari Semiacoustic Violin will likely be music lovers, and, of course, violinist.
