Online Sales Spiked on Black Friday

Online sales were up 15.9 percent on Black Friday, compared with Black Friday 2009, and consumers had an average order value (AOV) of $190.80 (up from $170.19), according to Coremetrics.

The report also indicates that social shopping is playing a role, thanks to Facebook primarily, though traffic from social networking sites only amounts to about 1 percent of traffic to retail sites.

Mobile shopping was on the rise this year, as 5.6 percent of people logged onto retail sites with a mobile device, an increase of 26.7 percent from the previous Friday.

How to update iPod Touch to iOS 4.2.1

The iOS 4.2.1 is now available for download which brings features like folders in iPad, Airprint, Airplay and several more. Here are the steps to update your iPod Touch iOS. Basically you can update your iPod touch iOS manually or automatically.

Automatically updates to iOS 4.2.1

1. Make sure you have iTunes 10.1 installed.
2. Connect your iPod Touch to your PC.
3. An iOS 4.2.1 update message will show up. Click the “Download and Update” button to update iPod Touch to iOS 4.2.1.

4. Click button update and click agree button to accept terms by Apple. It will take a few hours and several minutes depending on the speed of your internet broadband. Now you can sit back and relax.

Updating to iOS 4.2.1 Manually Via iTunes

1. Download iOS 4.2.1 IPSW (for iPod Touch) from here.
2. Get iTunes 10.1 installed.
3. Connect your iPod Touch to your PC.
4. Choose your device from the left sidebar of your iTunes. While holding the [SHIFT] key (Windows) or holding the OPTION key (Mac), click on the update button.
5. Now browse to the iOS 4.2.1 IPSW file where you download it and select it. Now your iPod Touch will now be updated to iOS 4.2.1.
