Tardis Mug for Dr. Who fans

Published by under Technology

Love time traveling? Then the Tardis Mug is the perfect drinking accessory for you, although you won’t be using this to guzzle down beers, but rather, sip your favorite hot beverage. This Tardis-style mug will definitely have the Dr. Who mood, since whenever you pour some hot tea or coffee in it and then take it somewhere cold, you will be able to enjoy watching steam pouring out of it. Heck, it looks so real, it even comes complete with the St. John Ambulance badge as well as white notice on the door.

Basically, this is the mug to purchase if you’re an aspiring Time Lord, used whenever you are not satisfying your hunger for fish fingers and custard. It actually looks larger on the inside than the outside, capable of holding up to 16 oz of your favorite hot beverage. At $15.99 a pop, you won’t be traveling through time anytime soon, but you can stop time as people look at your cool mug.

Kick! – Jane

Published by under Make money online

I’m on a roll here, my very own retro moment lah mamak! Yesterday I posted an entry regarding the band Lovehunters, while today the posting is about our very own Kick!

Recall John Klass, Jai Wahab, and that other dude whose name I could never remember.

Kick! was awesome man. They were da-bomb during my teens years. They’ll go down in history as part of the resurgence of everything local. From movies to song. John Klass and band was behind a few of the songs from ‘The Teenage Textbook’ soundtrack. Remember that peeps.

Too bad they disbanded, and everything went South from there. We all grew up, and things change. What’s left are just memories. Good ones I might add.

Sources for Content

Published by under Make money online

Q: I have three web sites I am working on. The first is www.________.com. this is strictly a business site with few affiliate ads. The other two www.________.com and www.________.com are affiliate sites about things i am interested in. My problem is content. Im not the best at the writting thing, and would like good, rich, content for the site but havent been able to find a source. Any suggestions?

Shawn CollinsA: As far as outsourcing content, there is a really good ebook that just came out for free called The Cheap-Ass Guide to Online Content.

You can get the ebook at MyContentPro.com.

I would definitely recommend taking a look at it. The ebook is a quick read that you can go through in 15-20 minutes.

Lots of free and cheap content solutions are in there.

Is Facebook testing Voice Chat feature?

Published by under Technology

Ridiculous rumor about Facebook is shutting down spreading fast on the internet, but as just a school kid could tell; it is clearly a prank. How could a website worth billions of dollar want to pull the plug and erase itself off the history? In fact Facebook is expanding itself; we could see its own email service and it is recently noticed that Facebook is testing Voice Chat feature.

The picture above is taken from Mashable and according to the website,

Multiple Mashable readers have sent in pictures of what appears to be a “call” button that shows up when viewing other people’s profiles, though it’s not yet clear what exactly the button enables (one tipster said it initiated a voice call but didn’t connect to anyone).

Giving the fact that Facebook is currently working on the release of its new Facebook Messages product that will put IM, e-mail and texting under one roof, it seems logical for Facebook to introduce VoIP service. This will definitely give a tough competition to Gmail voice call that recently offers free phone calls in the Canada and the United States throughout 2011.
