The truth about sugar
If it’s tasty, then it’s no good for you. Well that’s my belief system, and with that I’ve restrained myself from drinking carbonated drinks, to binging on tidbits from some time now.
Of course that doesn’t mean that I’m totally off such ‘luxuries’ in life. From time-to-time, I do reward myself with selective fast food items, to my favorite Loacker wafer chocolate.
Well below is an excellent video on a dude debunking the many food myths out there. My advise, you only have one lifetime to make a difference, No regrets now.
Robert H. Lustig, MD, UCSF Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, explores the damage caused by sugary foods. He argues that fructose (too much) and fiber (not enough) appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic through their effects on insulin.
